South Ballina Beach Holiday Park
South Ballina across the Richmond River from Ballina Enjoy the tranquil view on the 4min ferry ride

We can be found at 440 South Ballina Beach Road, South Ballina on the other side of the Richmond River from Ballina itself, and can be reached in two ways.

From Ballina

Most people, visitors and locals alike use the ferry across the Richmond River, which is at the end of Burns Point Ferry Road, about 10 minutes from the centre of Ballina. The turn off is left off the Pacific Highway about 300m south of the Big Prawn complex in West Ballina. After a brief ferry ride, take the first turn left about 200m from the ferry. Our Park is the second one along about 4.4km.
The ferry operates from 5.30am to 12.30am daily.
It is only closed on the second Tuesday of each month from 9am to 12 noon.

The 4 minute trip across the Richmond River is well worthwhile just for the tranquil view it gives of Ballina itself and really sets the mood for your beautifully relaxing break at our wilderness holiday park.

From Wardell
The alternative approach if travelling from South of Wardell, is to take the road on the south side of the Richmond River 200m south of the Wardell Bridge, which is about 15 km south of Ballina. Then travel North, turning right just before the ferry is reached. A sign points the way. Ours is the second (and last) holiday/caravan park on the right about 4.4km from that turnoff.
