 South Ballina Beach Holiday Park has been established for many years having traded as South Ballina Beach Wilderness Park until December 2002 when ownership changed hands and John Ball and Rosie Lucas were appointed as Managers.
Since then a substantial redevelopment has been undertaken which has completely transformed the park, but without in any way sacrificing the atmosphere of peaceful and enjoyable tranquillity which has existed here for so many years. Several additional cabins have been installed with top class features and equipment, as well as an adult swimming pool and one for the toddlers, both in the one shaded and landscaped area. We also have a new children's playground. New gas barbecues are also being well patronised by our guests.
Of course we still have a large number of sites both powered and un-powered for the caravanner, motor home owner or tent owners, some of our largest groups being fishing clubs who return year after year for the “big fish”.
Other facilities are also being upgraded, and we anticipate that within a few months under the expert management of John and Rosie we will have one of the finest parks in the area. Even now we are seeing an encouraging number of our previous visitors making return bookings as well as many new ones, whilst our forward bookings for peak holiday times are most encouraging.
